RLF Microfinance originated from a development-oriented NGO, with a mission to improve lives and evolve into a financially and socially sustainable institution.
Recognizing the importance of both social and financial development, the company has embedded social performance management into its core operations from the very beginning. To uphold its dedication to sustainable impact, RLF Micro Finance has established a dedicated Social Performance Management Department. Guided by the principle of responsible business, the organization embraces the triple bottom line approach—emphasizing responsible finance, social impact, and environmental sustainability. All activities are carried out with a strong commitment to social responsibility, ethical conduct, and transparency, reflecting respect and accountability to all stakeholders, including clients, employees, and their families.
RLF micro finance’s mission and vision are deeply rooted in promoting both social and financial development, while maintaining environmental responsibility across its operations. Its Social Performance Management (SPM) policy aligns with globally recognized frameworks, including the Smart Campaign’s Client Protection Principles, the Universal Standards for Social Performance Management by the Social Performance Task Force, and social performance reporting standards set by the Microfinance Information Exchange.
The organization is also strongly committed to gender equity. It has not only developed a comprehensive Gender Policy in collaboration with industry experts but also ensures that all employees undergo mandatory gender sensitization training. This commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful work environment is reflected in the organization’s culture. RLF Micro Finance continues to enhance workplace comfort through the design and implementation of gender-sensitive facilities.
